.SH DESCRIPTION
These commands convert common strings containing
an embedded IEEE Organizationally Unique Identifier (OUI)
to the manufacturing organization's name.
.I Etheroui
accepts MAC addresses while
.I wwnoui
accepts World Wide Names (WWNs).
.SH EXAMPLES
Often it is helpful in determining the source of unknown
packets on a network to know the manufacturer.
Given these error messages in
.BR /sys/log/ipboot ,
.I etheroui
can be used to narrow down the list of suspect equipment.
