.I Oplayer
is a program that provides a
.IR omero (1)
interface
to play audio files.
.I Oplayer
uses the MP3
audio volume
to play songs, by copying them to
.B /devs/audio/output
and using
.B /devs/audio/volume
and to adjust the
volume level.

The
.I dir
argument identifies the directory containing the songs and/or other
directories. The program understands the commands
.BR Play ,
.BR Stop ,
.BR Pause ,
.BR Resume ,
and
.BR Next ,
which are self-explanatory.

The mouse can be used as said in
.IR omero (1)
to look for other directories to play, or to look for a different song to play.
The program considers
.I look
and
.I exec
requests as synonims: Requests to play.

Option
.B -d
enables diagnostic messages for debugging.

.I Oplayer
listens to the

port, to accept requests for songs or albumns to be played.
