Use 'mk install' to install all components to the user's $home/bin and rc directories. The 'io' wrapper script is used both to create new sessions and connect to existing ones. Iosrv is the server and ioshell is the client. While connected, a special set of user commands is implemented by the ioshell to communicate with the iosrv to create new shells and switch between them. Iosrv has the built-in capacity to allow clients to choose to create new shells on either the iosrv host machine, or on the local machine and export them to the iosrv host and allow other clients to user them also. Multiple users can thus work in a shared environment with all of them providing execution and storage resources to the shared iosrv session.
